The Disconnection
I've come to terms with the pain inside. I feed off it to erect a stable piece of mind. But the war outside, trigger happy pigs, lost 18 year old boys who's graves we dig. They paid the price of suburban boredom. Enlisted and dressed up in a body bag.
While mom don't be so sad, he died for a cause. No explanation needed. Just rest assured It'll be on the news within the hour, off a teleprompter written by someone that you will never see or will know or will talk to in your life.
What a waste of life at the price of boredom. What a waste of life sacrificed to the man. You say that you got nothing, but I don't understand how anybody could take a bullet for a man that you don't know.
All songs by Robert Rios, except “Feeling Chemical” and “Civilians, Saints and Bombers” by Erik Benton and Robert Rios, and “Sound Check Song” by Robert Rios and Drew Tran.
